What we know is that Wolverine and Sabretooth are expected to receive much-needed rewords along with the Weapon X tag. Now, the Weapon X team has only been loosely teased at this point. He will be the Legendary character for the Weapon X team. Omega Red comes crashing onto the Marvel Strike Force scene as the second Mythic Legendary character. Expect all new Legendary Events to carry the Mythic tag on them. And, I wouldn’t be surprised if we’ve seen the last of normal Legendary Event releases going forwards. Mythic Legendary Events are designed to be difficult in order to promote impatient spending on offers if you want to be the first in line to acquire the new toon. This means that you need to invest a lot more gold and many more materials into these toons to earn that sweet unlock.Īdd in the fact that Adam Warlock is currently the 5th character in the most powerful team in the game, Infinity Watch, and you can imagine that people desperately want to get him on their rosters. However, now you need to be concerned about Gear level and ISO-8 level as well. Essentially, you still have star requirements for the toons required for the unlock. Mythic Legendary Events started with Adam Warlock. You might say that Phoenix was the first ‘semi-Legendary Event’, because she requires Mythic, Villain, Controller toons instead of toons with just a single tag. All of the regular Legendary Events are handled in a similar fashion: you need five toons at 5-star to earn the unlock. Up until this point, Marvel Strike Force has only had Legendary Events in order to unlock these powerful characters. Because Mythic Legendary Events have stricter requirements to complete, you can expect these toons to be quite powerful. Instead, I want to talk about the Mythic Legendary Events in Marvel Strike Force! These are new Events that reward players with a Mythic Legendary character if they’re able to hit all the requirements. There has been a lot of chatter about the game lately, namely in the sense of power creep and the feeling of leaving free-to-play players in the dust.īut I’m not here to comment on all that today. It’s been a few weeks since we did a Marvel Strike Force post, but hopefully we can get them back in the mix going forwards. Welcome back to MSF Mondays! Each week we break down one more aspect of the hottest mobile game, Marvel Strike Force!
